“Reagan years and gun violence inspired this parody where we imagined “peaceniks” that were willing to kill for peace. The red and white peace armbands against the black jumpsuits designed by Japanease fashion king, Koshyn Sato, led some to accuse DEVO of looking like “peace Nazis”. DEVO takes aim and declares “Freeze! You got a problem with Peace, sucker?””
