This is the record where the spud boys set out to "play less notes." They were entirely successful.

This was the first Devo album I bought and I was hooked from then on. I even bought a clud devo membership and got a yellowsuite and red energy dome. It's COOL to be a Devo-geek!

I can identify with Dan's comments. I went to see Devo at Knebworth in the UK around 1978 and the crowd were hostile and threw full cans of beer at our beloved brethren. Also somebody was hurt quite badly by a stray beer can being thrown. I thought at the time the crowd were arse holes that just didnt get it. I thought the youth were supposed to be anti-fascist! Any way I carried on yelling my head off, I thought Devo were brilliant, fresh, challenging and sincere.
    I love Devo.
