Michael/Devo-Obsesso

Michael/Devo-Obsesso

Hardcore DEVO fan since 1980. In 1988 I decided to follow my genetic imperative in archiving DEVO memorabilia. Formally met the band in the mid 1990's thanks to Lisa Casale, and began assisting with graphics, screen printing, and archiving over the next few years.

Officially started working for the band in 2002 as a paid employee of DEVO, Inc. Since then I've been assisting them on tour, managing their archives, helping with graphic design, providing tons of content for their online presence, and keeping in touch with their Devoted fanbase.

In 2010 we teamed up with the Mother Agency & Warner Bros Records to give you even more DEVO in the form of their "Something For Everybody" release...their first full length album in 20 years.

Now in these post-Warner Brothers days, DEVO needs your support more than ever. We hope you enjoy this new DEVO web site, launched in March 2012. Be sure to check out the "Concert Photos" & "Concert Videos" categories in the 'Photos' & 'Video' pages at clubdevo.com. I will post photos & videos from the road while I'm with DEVO at any of their concerts, so check there for tour reports.

Michael Pilmer/Devo-Obsesso says:

Tommy Lee of Motley Crue was super-psyched to get his own Energy Dome to take home. After
I presented it to him, he said "I fuckin' love you, dude!" and give me a big bear hug. He
also entertained us by making some fairly DEVOlved faces for the camera.

Bob1 Talks About His Music Work

bob1 in australia 2015

Bob Mothersbaugh underscores variety of work available for musicians.

Music is everywhere, particularly when your mother is an enthusiastic church pianist and your father dreams of being the next Benny Goodman on clarinet. Such was the case for Bob Mothersbaugh, lead guitarist for the controversial 1970s and '80s band, Devo.
